Niya was born in Florida but was raised in Bloomington, Minnesota. Niya is currently a paraprofessional at Valley View Elementary School. Niya started her passion for dance at the young age of 10. Following cheerleading for a couple years, Niya fell in love with dance upon going to Kennedy High School where she would graduate from. Niya danced for her high school dance team the Kennedy Kolleens for both Fall/Winter seasons throughout her high school career. She also had the opportunity to dance in the 2018 Outback Bowl in Florida!

Upon graduating high school Niya found herself still in the dance world through a new lens. Niya currently is a Head Instructor at Eagan Just For Kix and the Head Winter Varisty Coach Dance Team at Kennedy High School for the Kennedy Kolleens the team in which she danced for thoughout high school!

Niya is very excited to be a part of Vibe this year and can't wait for the new experience it may bring! When Niya is not dancing she loves to eat and workout!
